Garage Barber Shop Bundaberg American Crew Entries
I really wish I captured some behind the scenes photos of the night I spend photographing the American Crew Entries for the Garage Barber Shop in Bundaberg. The girls super busy cutting and shaping hair on their models, getting the ready for the photo shoot. The shop was a buzz with activity all chairs were filled and I needed to set up a studio. If you have a look at my photo’s here you can see the space is not a large space. I set up right up the back of the shop. Most of the shoot I used a Photek Softlighter 2 with Elinchrom strobes. On hand there was always someone that was able to hold a white board to reflect the light. Each barber chose great models and their styling was certainly on point. These young men are not professional models yet they were able to listen to what was being asked and their patience is to be commended. We wanted the hair to be perfect, obviously no editing is allowed on the hair and having the computer there for the barbers to zoom in and make adjustments before the next shot, makes the process go a little bit slower than normal. It was a great night and and especially love the results. A huge thank you to the Rex Silver for this opportunity.
